1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup olive oil

(If the dough will stick to your hands, you can pour more flour, but no more than 1/2 cup)
1 egg for lubrication test

Combine milk and water. Separately in a glass bowl mix 2 tablespoons of water and milk, add yeast and leave for a few minutes. Beat the egg, add water to the milk, olive oil, salt and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Gradually pour the flour (by half a cup). When you add all the flour, knead the dough, it should be soft and flexible. Leave approach (to grow) until the dough will double. The finished dough twist together into rolls. For forms use a glass heat resistant bowl, wrap it with foil.

  1. Truly terrific idea! Love all the photos, but the written directions are incomplete. Baking time, temp, everything after wrapping the bowl in foil is gone.

  2. There are no cooking temperature or time to bake... please finish

  3. Love the idea! I really wish the instructions were more readable, though. What do you do with the egg after you beat it? When do you add the yeast? Do I need 1/2 cup + 2 tbls of milk and water for the mixture and the yeast? The pictures for the weaving are excellent, but the dough recipe directions need to be doable before I get to the weaving!

  4. I have no clue on times, but I'm thinking 350 degrees until golden? Bake like any other bread product. I do hope they update tho!

  5. A friend on FB says 350 F is the basic for dough in the oven, for about 20 minutes is appropriate.

  6. What do I bake it at and how long do you bake each part?

  7. YOU DON'T SAY HOW LONG TO BAKE THIS AND AT WHAT TEMP?

  8. Is there a substitution for yeast? like self rising flour?
