Here is an easy curtain to make idea. Turn a shop-bought quilt into a heavyweight winter door curtain.


For this easy curtain to make you will need:

  • Ready-made guilt large enough to cover tour door or window
  • Tacking thread
  • Velvet ribbon
  • Matching thread
  • Heavyweight curtain rings

Easy curtains to make

1. Workout the drop of your finished curtain. Measure the
quilt and fold down at the top so that it matches your required drop.Tack in place.

2. Cut a length of ribbon to the width of your curtain plus 4cm and pin in place along the turned
down edge of the quilt, tucking the excess between the two layers at either end.

3. Easy curtain to make. If your quit isn't too bulky, machine stitch ribbon in pace through all layers Alternatively, hand stitch. Remove tacking.

4. Using strong double thread, sew curtain rings in place along the top of the curtain at regular
