LAVENDER BATH SALTS
For a relaxing soak, add lavender to bath salts. Strip lavender flowers from 10 to 12 stems of lavender (fresh
or dried) and add to I cup (around two handfuls) of bath salts.
LAVENDER POSIES FOR CUPBOARDS
Tie 10 to 12 freshly picked lavender flowers stems together. Hang in a warm airy place (but not in direct sunlight) until perfectly dry. Finish with a pretty ribbon and use among clothes and linens in storage.
LAVENDER LINEN SPRAY
Add 3 or A drops pure lavender essential oil mixed into I tbsp flavourless vodka or other alcohol. Dilute with 100ml pure spring water and decant into an airtight bottle. Leave for two to three weeks before using. FOr a simpler lavender water that can be used straight away, simmer lavender flowers heads in water then strain and bottle. Note that the lavender heads will colour the water: it won't be clear like the first version. When ironing, sprinkle or spritz on to laundry.
